About Bent Arrow
A small company that walks with you
Bent Arrow Travel started with one Camino walked by a handful of friends and grew by word of mouth from there. We still plan every trip the same way: small, personal, and built around the people taking it.
The name comes from an old idea: an arrow is only useful once it has been bent under tension and released. Most of us come to a long walk, a holy place, or a high ridge with something we are carrying. We think the road is a good place to set it down.
Our founder has walked the Camino more times than they can count, traveled with church groups through Galilee and Jerusalem, and spent summers hiking in the Tetons. The team is small, and every message sent through this site is read by a real person.
What we believe
Three things we will not compromise on
Go slow enough to notice
We would rather walk one more hour than see one more site. The best moments on any trip are the ones nobody scheduled.
Take care of people
Good beds, good food, honest conversations about fitness and fear, and a plan that pays attention to the details. Travel should leave you more whole, not more tired.
Leave places better
We book family-run lodging, work with local businesses, and follow leave-no-trace on every trail. The places we love should be there for the next pilgrim.
How it works
From first call to first step
- 01
A conversation
You tell us what you are hoping for. We listen and ask a lot of questions.
- 02
A proposal
You get a day-by-day itinerary, a clear price, and an honest read on fitness and season.
- 03
The details
Once you say yes, we book everything and send you a packing list, a training plan, and a direct line to us by email for any question.
- 04
The trip
You go. We stay an email away the whole time.
What travelers say
What it is like to travel with us
“I wanted to walk the Camino for twenty years and kept putting it off because of the planning. Bent Arrow handled everything. All I had to do was walk.”
Margaret H.Camino Francés, Sarria to Santiago “Reading John 21 on the shore of Galilee with my congregation is something none of us will forget. The logistics were flawless and I got to be a pastor instead of a tour manager.”
Pastor David R.Israel and Jordan “An itinerary from people who actually knew the Tetons, and trails I never would have found on my own. We saw a moose on day one. Already planning Glacier for next summer.”
